iPhone 7 Overview

The iPhone 7 is a smartphone that was released by Apple in September 2016. It features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and is powered by a 64-bit A10 Fusion chip. It has a 12-megapixel main camera and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera, and is available in 32GB and 128GB storage options. It is water and dust resistant, and has a fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. The iPhone 7 does not have a headphone jack, but it comes with a lightning-to-3.5mm adapter for connecting traditional headphones. It is no longer being produced, but you may be able to find used or refurbished models for sale.

iPhone 6 vs iPhone 7

One of the main differences is the size of the display. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 7 has a slightly larger 4.7-inch display. The iPhone 7 also has a higher resolution display than the iPhone 6.

Another difference is the processor. The iPhone 7 is powered by a 64-bit A10 Fusion chip, which is faster and more powerful than the A8 chip that powers the iPhone 6.

In terms of camera, the iPhone 7 has a 12-megapixel main camera and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera, while the iPhone 6 has an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The iPhone 7 is also water and dust resistant, while the iPhone 6 is not. Additionally, the iPhone 7 does not have a headphone jack, while the iPhone 6 does.

Overall, the iPhone 7 is a more powerful and advanced device than the iPhone 6, with a faster processor, better cameras, and improved water and dust resistance. However, the iPhone 6 may be a more affordable option for those on a budget.

DESIGN

At first look, the iPhone 7 delivers a direct design of the iPhone 6s. However, it is 5 grams heavier than it with the home button having a 3D touch sensitivity. Apples introduce a new color for the iPhone which is Black and Jet black and leaves the Silver gold and rose gold. On a closer look, the headphone has been removed and users are now expected to connect the earphone to the lightning processor or use a wireless earphone known as AirPods.

DISPLAY

The iPhone 7 screen equipped with a 3D touch has a 4.7-inch IPIS which gives it a wider display and 750*1334 pixels resolution gives it a brighter output which makes the screen 25 percent brighter.

CAMERA

There is an upgrade in the camera bringing in more light, creating light on its own which enables it to capture pictures well. Even though the 12MP resolution at the back camera remains, there are noticeable differences as it is a little bit sharper. The most important upgrade is the introduction of a larger f/1.8 aperture that allows more light and it comes with optical image stabilization which makes it easier to snap clean and blur-free pictures. The front camera is not left out as it gets a 5MP TO 7MP resolution upgrade and HD for Facetime.

Hardware and Software

Equipped with a new generation A10 chip, it enables upgrade to 11.1 version and also has a 2GB RAM however with higher capacity. Its storage capacity ranges from 32GB, 128GB to 256GB. It also introduces a new GPU which is 50 percent faster. It enables a 4G LTE connection and has a higher battery capacity which would last 11 hours when using the internet and 12 when using a Wi-Fi connection.

iPhone 7 Price In Nigeria

The price for an iPhone 7 in Nigeria varies depending on where you buy it. At Jumia and Konga, the starting point is at 99 thousand Naira while Kara only offers one that can be bought outright – 128GB storage capacity model 120k Naira. These rates may change due to currency fluctuations so keep your eyes peeled!

CONCLUSION

It’s ultimately up to you to decide which phone best fits your needs and budget. If you’re looking for a more advanced and powerful device with better cameras and water and dust resistance, the iPhone 7 might be the better choice. However, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, the iPhone 6 might be a good choice.

Here are a few things to consider when deciding which phone to buy:

  • Your budget: Both phones are no longer being produced, so you may be able to find used or refurbished models for sale. The iPhone 7 may be more expensive than the iPhone 6, depending on where you buy it and the condition of the device.
  • Your needs: Think about what you’ll be using the phone for and what features are most important to you. If you need a phone with a powerful processor and better cameras, the iPhone 7 might be a better choice. If you don’t need the latest and greatest features, the iPhone 6 is still a good option.

Ultimately, it’s essential to research and consider your needs and budget before deciding.
